Colorado is ringing with a big "thank you" from local and statewide nonprofits for giving where you live.
People statewide gave more than $13 million during Colorado Gives Day, according to our sister station KUSA in Denver.
Colorado Gives Day is an annual event that was started by the Community First Foundation and First Bank.
Eight local organizations took part in the day, just a few of nearly 1,200 nonprofits across the state.
