GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) --- Tisha Schuller, the CEO of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association made her way to Grand Junction and met with community leaders to discuss development on the Western Slope.
The main concern is that oil and gas activity has slowed down in this area and the attention is focused on the Front Range.
The meeting addressed issues and ideas, which will be taken back to Denver to come up with solutions.
Schuller's visit included touring basin's on the Western Slope where she heard operators prospective and also got the communities input.
The goal is to get a conversation going about the next steps for development.
