GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Although economic recovery here is still behind the Front Range's, new commercial projects are creating opportunities all around town.

There's no better time than now for White to introduce the first trampoline park to Grand Junction residents than now. The steady recovery of the economy gave White the big push to get his dream in motion.
Get Air at The Silo has helped boost work in the Grand Valley. Construction has been slow in our area for the last five years, but this project has helped 13 people get jobs in operations and since the beginning of construction in January three to 10 construction workers have been at this adventure park everyday.
The trampoline park is just one of many new commercial projects in town. Two major ventures include a City Market on the corner of 12th and Patterson Rd. and a 48,000 square foot Fed Ex ground facility on 23 Rd.
There are about 12 other commercial properties that are either under construction, recently opened or in their planning phase.
City officials said this is a huge step for the Valley because for the last two years there has been an increase in residential properties, but it's taken a while for commercial properties to follow suit.
"That's really positive so maybe its a sign that were on the right track in terms of growing the economy on the western slope," Tim Moore, Deputy City Manager.
