GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) --- The Marillac Clinic in Grand Junction is celebrating its fourth annual Safety Net Clinic Week.

It's a statewide initiative that's designed to offer information on essential health care services that the clinic provides to folks who are low-income, uninsured, or under-insured.

The Marillac Clinic is a "one-stop-shop" for those who need assistance.

They offer an integrated care program that includes medical, mental, dental and optical services among others.

"It's an opportunity for us to be able to educate our community and remind them of what Marillac provides here," Kristy Schmidt, Marillac Clinic Community and Donor Relations Director said, "and that we have services here to be able to help those in need."

The Clinic is Mesa County's primary safety net clinic, providing services to about 7,000 individuals each year.
