The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has completed its examination regarding the death of person found in the river yesterday August 21, 2014.
The person is an unknown male as young as 45 years old and as old as 75 years old. He was likely a smoker, average to muscular build, had no teeth, 5’ 10” tall and approximately 150 pounds, and appears to be Caucasian or Hispanic. It appears that he could have been in the water approximately 2 to 6 months.
At this time cause and manner of death is still under investigation.
We were able to positively rule out this person being Ctormy Taylor, the gentleman that fell in the river on Memorial Day this year.
