Crime Stoppers investigates donation burglary

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help in locating the suspect involved in a theft.

At approximately 1:50 p.m. on Monday, Dec.3, a male suspect stole a donation jug with $800 from Enterprise Liquor on 2923 North Ave. The five gallon plastic donation jug were cash charity donations for a local high school student to assist with financing a study abroad trip.

The male that stole the jug was described as either Caucasian or Hispanic, in his late twenties, with short dark hair, a thin build and about five feet tall. He also had a beard and scraggly hair.

If you know the identity or location of the subject involved in this crime, please contact Crime Stoppers at 241-7867. Information reported to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest can earn you up to $1,000 cash reward and you would remain completely anonymous.
