MACK, Colo. (KKCO) - It was a good year for music and an improved year for safety -- authorities say crime was down across the board at Major Mortgage Country Jam 2011.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office 50 DUI's were issued during the four day festival. That's down from 54 in 2010.
115 minors were caught drinking, a significant drop from the 187 minors who were ticketed a year ago.
The number of adults cited for giving alcohol to minors was also down from 24 in 2010 to 15 in 2011.
There were no reported incidents of assaults, thefts, drug violations, or domestic violence.
