Crime Stoppers crime of the week

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) The Grand Junction Police Department needs your help to identify and locate suspect(s) involved in an assault and robbery.

Around 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, two African American males approached the victim in the area of 28 1/2 Road and North Avenue. The subjects proceeded to assault and rob the victim before fleeing the area.

The suspects are described as being between the ages of 18 and 25 years old, between 5' 10" and 6' 2", and weighing between 150 and 180 pounds. Both had shoulder length dread-locks and both were wearing black pants with a black hooded sweatshirt.

If you know the identity or location of the subject(s) involved, please contact Crime Stoppers at 241-STOP. Information reported to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest can earn you up to $1,000 cash reward and you will remain completely anonymous.
