Delta police hunt for armed robber

DELTA, Colo. (KKCO) – An armed robber who held up a bead shop Tuesday is on the loose.

Around 12:10 p.m, a man walked into Petunia Beads on 201 Ute Street, held up a handgun and demanded cash.

The Delta Police Department says he then took off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses describe him as a Caucasian man in his 20s with short blonde hair and light eyes. He is about six feet tall and has a medium build.

He was seen leaving the scene in a late-80s/early 90s white, four-door car, driven by a Caucasian woman in her 20s with red hair and a heavy build.
