SAN DIEGO, Calif. (AP) San Diego Mayor Bob Filner is keeping a low profile on his final day in office after resigning in disgrace amid sexual harassment allegations.
Employees in the City Hall lobby said Friday they hadn't seen the mayor, who has no public appearances scheduled.
His spokeswoman Lena Lewis didn't immediately respond to messages seeking comment about his whereabouts.
An office receptionist had no comment.
Filner is set to leave office after bowing to enormous pressure that he resign less than nine months into his four-year term. City Council President Todd Gloria will become interim mayor.
