GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Classes are starting up again soon for District 51 students, but before you run out and buy supplies for your kids be sure to check what their school requires.

Some elementary schools like Appleton, Broadway and Clifton require parents of Kindergarteners to pay a fee ranging anywhere from $15 to $40. That money will go in a class pool and teachers will buy all the supplies needed for their students. All they have to bring with them is a backpack.

However, schools like Lincoln and Pamona don't have any classroom fees for kids just entering into kindergarten.

District 51 middle and high schools have various fees as well to pay for art supplies, tech support and books.
