Driver Crashes into Burger King

Grand Junction, Colo. – A man crashed into Burger King with a truck just after 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning near I-70B and 32 Road.

First, the driver clipped the corner of the fast-food restaurant and after he plowed into concrete tables, which damaged all of the tables.

The man then got out of the vehicle and tried to run away, but security guards from Cactus Canyon tackled him to the ground. No one was injured during the incident.

Police arrested the man for DUI and careless driving. Police say the vehicle did not belong to the driver and he allegedly took the keys from the back of his friend’s truck and drove it away.
