COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- A driver who Colorado Springs police say struck and killed two women crossing a street with a stroller has been cited with careless driving resulting in death.
Jennifer Eggleton also was cited with violating the pedestrian's right of way in a crosswalk. The Gazette reports Colorado court records show no previous driving offenses for her.
Police say Rebecca Lynn Robinson and Rose Arcuragi were crossing a street Monday morning with Robinson's 14-month-old child in a stroller when they were struck. Robinson and Arcuragi have died.
The child was listed in good condition at a hospital Tuesday afternoon.
