AVON, Colo. (AP) -- A 24-year-old woman has been charged with criminally negligent homicide in the death of an Avon man who overdosed on heroin.

The Vail Daily reports (http://bit.ly/10vA1TY) Kaile Leigh Wilson of Edwards was arrested Thursday following an investigation into the death of Matthew Williamson. Wilson, who is free after posting $10,000 bond, also faces felony charges of drug distribution and reckless death.

Williamson's roommate called Avon police Feb. 13 to report Williamson was not breathing. Investigators say they found a variety of drug paraphernalia in the apartment, including a spoon that contained heroin residue and a belt that appeared to have been used as a tourniquet.

Wilson is accused of selling the drugs to Williamson that caused his overdose and death.
