The godmother of William and Tyler Jensen has been waiting anxiously for today to happen.

"When I found out she had been arrested, I was excited," said Sharon Romero. "I was happy that justice is finally being served."

Romero, who said she and Heather were "best friends," never thought she'd say those words. On the night of the tragedy, Romero drove Heather to Children's Hospital in Denver where Tyler had been transported. She noticed Heather acting strangely.

"My boyfriend had to yell at her to get out of the car to see her son," Romero said. "She saw her son for about ten minutes and then went and took a nap in the waiting room for four hours."

Romero's son, Jack Redd, was babysitting for William and Tyler the day before Heather took them up on the Grand Mesa.

"I'm glad that she's having to pay for what she did but at the same time, even her going to jail isn't going to change anything," Redd said. "We're still going to be sad we lost the kids, but she does deserve to go to jail."

Heather was taken into custody at 2:15 p.m. today in North Fort Myers, FL. She faces two counts of child abuse resulting in death, two counts of criminally negligent homicide and one count of false reporting to authorities. She is being held on $150,000 bond.
