Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – The fourth annual Survive Fashion Show will begin this evening at the DoubleTree Hotel in Grand Junction. This year will feature nine cancer survivors as models.

This event will benefit St. Mary’s Cancer Survivorship Program and was originally created to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Dr. Glasser, of Canyon Creek Plastic Surgery, is proud to emcee this fashion show. It will begin tonight at 6 p.m.

Anewu Salon has been putting on the event for years, but this is the second year the money raised will stay in the community.

"We just wanted to do something local, we wanted the money that our community is giving, to stay in our community," said Bonnie Eaton of Anewu Salon in Grand Junction.
