The Eagle County Sheriff's Office is looking for information after a body washed up on a sandbar near Gypsum.
The body was discovered Friday afternoon around 3 p.m. Authorities say a fisherman saw a body located on a sandbar on the Eagle River. It was just behind the Gypsum Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Authorities say it's the body of a female and the cause of death will be determined by the coroner's office. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
