Final sentencing in Montrose rob, murder plot

MONTROSE, Colo. The last of three men implicated in a plot to rob and murder a Montrose man has been sentenced.

Salvador Cortez-Hererra has served his time for the third degree assault charges against him in Montrose. That after he was given a sentence of 364 days in jail and credit of time served for 364 days. As part of his sentence he must also pay more than $300 in court fines.

Cortez-Hererra was arrested along with Cody Bishop and Jorge Ramirez in Montrose last year for allegedly plotting to rob a man, murder him and use his car to flee the area.
