LOMA, Colo (KKCO) -- The Lower Valley Fire Department is actively working to put out a house fire in the 1300 block of Garfield Street in Loma.
Just before 10:30 a.m., a caller reported there was smoke and flames coming from the home.
Crews arrived and have been working to extinguish the flames. About an hour later, they were mopping up some hot spots in the attic.
So far, there there isn't any word on how the fire started. We'll update this story as we get more information.
