Fresh spin on local fruit

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. A new, one-of-a-kind company has made Grand Junction their permanent home and they're bringing with them new jobs and a fresh look at using local fruits.

6350 Natural Foods makes natural and organic whole-fruit snacks from locally grown produce.

They recently moved their operation from the Durango area up to the Grand Valley to be closer to their suppliers and now they're looking to make a name for themselves in the community.

"As we grow as a company we want to provide more jobs to our communtiy here locally," says CEO Kurt Luttecke. "We want to obviously buy more produce and more fruit to grow our company locally here."

6350's fruit snacks aren't available in local stores just yet, but they're currently working with several in the area and expect them to be in stock by the end of the summer.

The fruit snacks are gluten free, contain no artificial flavors or preservatives and are made from fruit that can't be sold directly in stores because of blemishes or size.
