PALISADE,Colo. The town of Palisade gathered downtown on Sunday for the farmer's market.

The market features a variety of local musicians that perform throughout the day and there's a different act featured each week.

The first harvest of Palisade peaches were a popular pick for many shoppers on Sunday.

Sue Parker has been selling her hand made stoneware at the palisade farmer's market for the past 8 years, and said she's amazed at how many out of town visitors they are seeing this year.

"We are seeing a few more people, you know at the palisade bluegrass festival there were a ton of out of town people that just shopped like crazy," said Parker.

The farmer's market in palisade is on Sundays from 10am-2pm from now through September.
