A man is behind bars after he allegedly sexually assaulted a little girl.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says 46-year-old Lonnie Dean Williams, Sr. faces 20 sexual assault charges.
According to an arrest affidavit, Williams touched the girl inappropriately repeatedly both on and under her clothing.
The assaults started when the girl was just eight years old. She is now 11.
The victim told her parents that a friend of hers was being molested by Williams.
Williams is being held on a $100,000 bond.
