Grand Junction, Colo. -- The Grand Junction Fire Department responded to a report of a garage fire at a residence yesterday afternoon at around 5:30 p.m.
When crews arrived on scene the first unit indicated heavy smoke from the structure. Firefighters established a water supply from a hydrant where the water was used to attack the fire inside the garage.
The blaze was knocked down fairly quickly, but a motor home and two vehicles suffered significant damage.
The residence is located at 300 Little Park Road.
Occupants were able to get out of the residence in time and there were no injuries reported. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
