"Grand Junction High School was briefly put into lockdown this morning as a precaution due to a suicidal subject in the area who had a gun. The incident involving that subject did not take place on campus, but at a nearby address. It did not involve staff or students at the school. The school is currently transitioning to shelter in place so the students and staff can return to their normal activities."
