GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The award-winning grand junction high school drama department is at it again, this time with a performance of Peter Pan.

And with flying at the very center of the story, the students are getting a little bit of help to literally, make the magic happen.

"We had people from Flying by Foy come in," says senior Carissa Christensen who plays Wendy. "We just flew for three hours for three days in a row and didn't do anything else for those three days."

Based in Las Vegas, Flying by Foy has helped many professional actors fly. They bring experience the students needed, since much of the musical is spent up in the air, especially Peter.

"The first time I went up I actually forgot a lot of my words," says junior Shannon Reeve who plays Peter. "It was so much to think about just my momentum and I have to keep facing the audience because my rope likes to turn around!"

The show premiers Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the Grand Junction High auditorium.

Tickets are $13 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
