GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A Grand Junction man was arrested, claiming another man tazered him and stole his pot.

According to an arrest affidavit, last Saturday night, James Farnsworth told police he had been tazed at 200 Rood Avenue, and his pot had been stolen as he met with a group of people to sell them marijuana.

He described a man in a red SUV who had tazed him, then made off with his weed.

Police pulled over the red SUV a short time later, driven by Derrick Richardson. Richardson wouldn't give police any information, according to the affidavit, but one of the SUV's passengers told authorities that Richardson had made it clear he was going to rob the dealer before he got out of the vehicle.

The passenger also told police that Richardson was hiding the pot and the tazer as he was being pulled over by police.

Richardson was arrested on suspicion of Aggravated Robbery, Use of a Stun Gun, and Marijuana Possession.

Farnsworth was charged with Sale and Possession of Marijuana, among other things.
