GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Piano enthusiasts have two chances to enjoy the tunes of a famous visiting musician's fingers this weekend.

George Winston is set to play to sold-out audiences at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Two Rivers Winery.

Winston said it's at least his tenth time playing in the Grand Valley since the late 1980s.

"I like to be in a lot of places because each place affects, it's like having lots of different DNAs in the music from the many places on the planet," Winston said, of his inspiration for his music.

He will perform songs from his winter-themed albums plus a few extras to full crowds.

"For me, the seasons and the regions are the main influence for me playing," he said. "Every song I like and that I play reminds me of a season or a place."

Winston has been giving back to the communities he performs in since 1986.

He's teamed up with Food Bank of the Rockies to gather canned goods at this weekend's concerts. Also, the proceeds from the CD sales will go to the food bank.
