The skates are sharp and the ice is back at the Glacier! Crews flooded the rink with water Thursday afternoon. It's a process that takes several days as each layer has to freeze before the next one can be laid down. The ice will be ready for skaters by the time the rink officially opens at 2:30pm on Saturday afternoon.

The first 50 people in the door will get to skate for free during the afternoon skate session. Later that afternoon there will be an exhibition game featuring two adult league hockey teams. The game will begin at 4:45pm.
