GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Country Jam featured several artists throughout the four day event, and brought in nearly 100,000 country music fans.

For Canadian artist Gord Bamford it was an exciting opportunity to gain a new fan base.

"It's like starting all over again and trying to develop another market that no one knows who we are and it's fun. It keeps you humble," said Bamford.

The Alberta native has racked up an impressive 16 Canadian Music Awards, and said he is excited to start over in the U.S.

Country Jam was Bamford's second performance in the U.S. and while he said he writes most of his own music, he showcased music from other popular artists at his two shows.
