GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Parents, faculty, and staff of Grand Junction High School all gathered Tuesday morning to say their final goodbyes to their graduating seniors.
Tuesday's ceremony celebrated the students and the community that helped the class of 2014 earn their high school diplomas.
For valedictorian, Johnathan Kyle, today was the culmination of four years of hard work that he says he'll remember for a lifetime.
"Never give up even though it's hard, you always have the support of your family and friends, and it gets better,” says Johnathan Kyle, Valedictorian of Grand Junction High School.
He graduates with 29 units of college credit, a 4.5 GPA, and high hopes for what's to come.
Many of the seniors will go on to study at some of the most prestigious universities in the country or join the armed forces.
