Grand Junction Police Catch Armed Robbery Suspect

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Grand Junction Police catch a suspect involved in an armed robbery overnight.

Police say 24-year-old Milton Telemaque walked into the C&F Food Store at 2847 North Avenue with a gun and demanded money just before 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. He told officers he used a staple gun to simulate an actual firearm.

He took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

An hour later police were able to chase him down and catch him with the help of the Mesa County Sheriff's Office and a Fruita Police K-9 unit.

No one was injured in this incident.
