Grand Junction goes colorful with the Color Vibe run

By  |

GRAND JUNCTION,Colo The Color Vibe run was held at the Mesa Mall on Saturday morning.

More than 2,000 people came out today for the color run, where every participant is given several color packets to throw up in the air, or at each other.

The run also had several stops where runners could get more color...and crossing the finish line runners were hit with another round of color.

At the end of the race a dance party was held for everyone that participated.

It wasn’t all fun and games though; a portion of the proceeds from the race went to benefit the muscular dystrophy association which helps fund research for people with Muscular Dystrophy and ALS.
