Students at Grand Mesa Middle School sent a big yellow card filled with thoughts and prayers for the Newtown community. They say they were not sure who'd get the card or where it may end up, but a photo circulating on Facebook shows the card on display at the Newtown Town Hall.
The Photo was posted on Facebook by a former Grand Junction resident who lives in Newtown. Student council members at GMMS put the card in the cafeteria for two days to collect the dozens of messages and signatures.
