GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Wendy Crowell entered a guilty plea on Tuesday to one count of sexual assault on a child.
The 37-year-old mother originally faced seven charges after, according to an arrest affidavit, the young victim's mother suspected something was going on between Crowell and her son. She called authorities after finding flirtatious text messages on his phone.
All other charges have been dropped.
The judge also ruled that Crowell does not need to undergo any further evaluations prior to her sentencing, even granting her request to travel to California a short time later this month.
Crowell will be sentenced in December.
