GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Each year the Salvation Army asks the community to donate turkeys for their annual Thanksgiving dinner.

This year, KEKB’S Mackenzie Dodge has challenged Bernie Lange and KKCO 11 News to a Turkey battle. The challenge is to see whose fans will donate the most turkeys before the 21st.

All you need to do to help out is take a frozen turkey and drop it off at Nick-N-Willy's pizza on Horizon Drive or the Salvation Army office on 4th street.

Be sure to let them know you're dropping off your turkey for Bernie so he doesn’t lose to Mackenzie Dodge.

Currently Mackenzie has collected 26 turkeys and Bernie has collected 23 turkeys. If you don’t have time to pick up a frozen bird you can also make a monetary donation.
