GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – KKCO 11 News is asking you to do your part to help the victims of Superstorm Sandy.

Two of our team members, anchor Therese O’Shea and meteorologist Lauren Kusik, grew up in one of the hardest hit areas: New Jersey.

For them, watching and reporting the devastation has been difficult while living so far away, where they can offer no physical aid. So KKCO is helping them gather financial support for those left powerless in the Sandy’s wake.

Therese has started a KKCO 11 News Sandy Relief Fund through CrowdRise.com. Find a link to our page under Related Links. All money raised will go to the American Red Cross, which is instrumental in the relief efforts.
