Infants need 14 immunizations by age 2
Each day nearly 12,000 children are born in the U.S. and all of them will need to be immunized from 14 diseases by the age of two.

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO)_Each day nearly 12,000 children are born in the U.S. and all of them will need to be immunized from 14 diseases by the age of two.
This week the Mesa County Health Department is observing National Infant Immunization Week. It's to remind parents about the importance of of childhood immunizations.
The CDC says vaccines are the most successful and cost effective public health tools available for preventing disease and death.
