Job fair brings new beginnings for spring job seekers

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Spring is all about new beginnings, especially for seasonal job seekers.

The Mesa County Workforce Center hosted its first multi-business job fair since it debuted its new building.

Hundreds of job hopefuls spoke with representatives from landscaping and labor companies about seasonal hiring opportunities.

"It's always nice when you can actually introduce yourself, make that impression in person," said Suzie Miller, business services manager for the Mesa County Workforce Center."This is a really great opportunity for efficient hiring for businesses."

Miller said the Mesa County Workforce Center will host more job events in the future thanks to additional space in the new location.
