A man accused of murder was found guilty on six counts by a Mesa County jury Friday night.
Julio Sesar Ortiz was convicted of first degree murder and first degree assault among other charges for stabbing Abel Roper in 2012.
Investigators said Julio and his brother Jose stabbed Roper 13 times in the torso and leg.
Roper was found dead in his truck after the incident that started out as a bar fight, on March 1sth last year.
Ortiz is scheduled to be sentenced on April 12.
