Knitting to provide items for those in need

The Community of Christ is giving space to participants of the 5th Annual Knit-A-Thon that is in place all day today and Sunday.

Grand Junction, Colo. – The 5th Annual Knit-A-Thon will take place all day at the Community of Christ on B ½ Road this Saturday.

Knitting and crocheting began at 10 a.m. and welcomes all ages. The items will be donated to St. Mary’s Labor, Delivery and Oncology departments as well as the Homeward Bound Homeless Shelter.

Yarn, hooks and needles will be provided. This event will also take place at noon on Sunday.
