ACLU lawsuit against City of Grand Junction continues

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The ACLU's lawsuit against the City of Grand Junction continues Monday, months after the city council approved their panhandling ordinance, and the city only has a few days left to file a response.

After it was passed in February, the American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit challenging the ordinance, saying it's too broad and violates the right to free speech.

A spokesperson for the city says they have until May 19th to file their response with the courts.
