Colorado craft beer gearing up to expand

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The growing popularity of locally crafted beer is catching the attention of beer lovers from all over ther world.

The success of craft beer within the state has many distributors picking up smaller brewers and getting them on tap and on the shelves all over the country.

"Our craft beer scene is just exploding which is great because the more craft brewers that there are, i think it pushes us to all elevate our craft a little bit more," says Kaitlin Lubeley of Kannah Creek Brewing Company.

The Western Slope's Kannah Creek Brewing Company is in the process of securing distribution in states like California, Nebraska, and Oregon and internationally, in Canada.

Experts say its the traditional flavors of locally crafted beer that set Grand Valley brewers apart from all the rest.
