Sheriff's Office class: Marijuana's effect on teen brains

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers are joining together for a free class anchored towards parents and teens. This is a Mesa County Safe Kids community class that is scheduled for Tuesday, Mar. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Canyon View Vineyard Church Chapel.

The topic for this class is Marijuana’s Effect on the Teen Brain. Parents and teens are strongly encouraged to attend together.

This month’s class is limited to 250 participants due to limited seating. To RSVP for the class, click on the link below. You will receive an email with your confirmed seat reservation.

    Anonymous...Thanks for the lead in...The Prescription Drugs (and Heroin) class is in April and the Vices class (to include alcohol, tobacco, and huffing) is in May. We look forward to seeing you there!

    What about the dangers of alchohol,tobacco,prescription drugs & huffing chemicals? All of wich are legal as well & do more harm to the teenage brain than Cannabis.
