Lotto fever over $636 million jackpot

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Becoming a millionaire is on the minds of many after the Mega Millions lottery jackpot jumped to a whopping $636 million, which is the second largest jackpot in lottery history.

No one has won in the last 21 drawings.

The odds used to be one in 176 million and are now one in 259 million because players used to choose numbers ranging from one to 56, but now they can choose up to number 75.

If nobody wins on Tuesday night the jackpot for Friday's drawing will start around $800 million.

And if no one wins Friday we could see a $1 billion jackpot on Christmas Eve.
