ERIE, Colo. (AP) A Colorado gun accessories manufacturer who vowed to leave the state because of a new gun control law is still doing business here, six months after vowing to leave.
The Boulder Daily Camera reports that the continued presence of Magpul Industries in Erie has some gun-rights supporters feeling duped.
Magpul announced in April that it had started making certain weapons accessories out of state, but operations continue at the plant. Some comments on the company's Facebook page accuse it of making empty threats.
Magpul said Thursday it still intends to relocate its operations, but moving a company of 250 employees to new locations in multiple states takes time.
