GREELEY, Colo. (AP) -- The second of three men accused of dragging, kicking and throwing calves at a northeastern Colorado cattle company has pleaded guilty to animal cruelty.

The Greeley Tribune reports 34-year-old Ernesto Daniel Valenzuela-Alvarez, who worked at the Quanah Cattle Co. near Kersey, entered his plea Friday and is scheduled to be sentenced April 29.

The Weld County District Attorney's Office charged Valenzuela-Alvarez, 33-year-old Tomas Cerda and 32-year-old Larry Loma in November after a video released by the animal rights organization Compassion Over Killing surfaced.

Cerda is set to be sentenced April 29, and Loma is scheduled to appear in court April 3 for a status update on his case.
