GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. A Grand Junction man causes damage to a local building after disorderly conduct at two other establishments.
According to a police affidavit Charles Pruitt left Thunder Struck Valley intoxicated, punched his own white Chevy extended cab pick-up truck, and drove off.
He then reportedly ended up at Naggy McGee's and attempted to start a fight with an employee.
Pruitt left McGee's and eventually struck a building at 309 Pitkin Avenue causing damage to the building and the vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Police caught up with Pruitt at 535 S. 5th Street, however when the officer approached him he ran. The officer chased Pruitt down and was able to get him to comply with commands without having to use a taser.
Pruitt was arrested and charged with DUI, obstructing a peace officer, reckless driving, and leaving the scene after striking unattended vehicle/property.
