GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A man is taken into custody after leading authorities on a motorcycle chase around town.

Mesa County Sheriff's deputies were called to the C&F convenience store at D 1/4 Road and 32 Road on reports of a man disturbing customers.

When authorities tried to contact 40-year old Jeromy Nation, he jumped on his motorcycle and took off.

He led the sheriff's office and Colorado State Patrol to 32 1/8 Road near E Road. That's when he wiped out and was caught.

The Clifton Fire Department responded to the scene and treated Nation for minor injuries.

CSP conducted a field sobriety test and Nation was arrested for DUI. He will be facing a charge of vehicular eluding and six additional misdemeanor charges.
