FORT COLLINS, Colo. (KKCO) -- Fort Collins police have sent out a bulletin to churches in the area, after a male suspect who has made threats to Mormon and Catholic churches was observed in Estes Park.

Fort Collins Police received information from other police agencies in the state indicating a male suspect, who made specific threats against the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Catholic Church.

The suspect indicated over the next two weeks "something bad would happen." The man is a self-proclaimed "Islamist Jihadist" and in a previous incident the man has claimed he was the Arch Angel Michael. The man has also made a series of anti-government statements.

Officials in Fort Collins say the suspect has not made any direct threats to churches in the area, but they wanted to alert the churches because the man was spotted nearby and could pose a risk to the community.
