Man stabbed with samurai sword in dispute

A man is stabbed with a samurai sword following an altercation Saturday afternoon.

Grand Junction police responded to the scene 2426 Hill Avenue around 3:45 p.m.

Authorities say it started as a domestic violence dispute involving a man and woman, but a third party was involved. The third party male was stabbed with a samurai sword by the man involved in the disturbance with the woman.

The victim was treated and released on scene. The suspect, a Grand Junction resident, was arrested and taken into custody by authorities.
